From Birmingham (2 hours): Take I-59 North to Exit 231...

From Chattanooga (45 min): Take I-59 South to Exit 231...

From Nashville (2 1/2 hours): Take I-24 East to I-59 South. Take exit 231...

From I-59 Exit 231 (the Valley Head - Hammondville exit):
Exit to highway 117 towards Valley Head. At the 3-Way stop, take a right, then an immediate left continuing on highway 117. Follow highway 117 through Valley Head staying left at fork in Valley Head. Continue up the mountain. In Mentone, turn right at the blinking yellow light. Go 2.5 miles (past 4-way stop) until you see a large sign on your left which reads "River View Camp for Girls and Natures Classroom." Take the road next to the sign, County Road 614, and proceed 1 mile until you arrive at Natures Classroom.

From Huntsville (1 and 1/2 hour):
Take U.S. Route 72 through Scottsboro. Take the Scottsboro - Fort Payne exit to the right on Alabama Route 35 (south) after passing by shopping centers. Cross the Tennessee river and then turn left onto Alabama Route 40 (east). Pass through Henagar and continue until you cross over I-59. From this point, follow the directions given above (from exit 231).

From Atlanta: (1 and 3/4 hour)
Take I-75 north to Exit 306 at Adairsville. Turn left onto Georgia Route 140 (west). Drive 15 miles to Armuchee and turn right onto U.S. Route 27 (north). Drive 15 miles to Summerville, then turn left onto Georgia Route 48. Drive 20 miles to Mentone (Georgia 48 becomes Alabama 117 at the state line.) In Mentone, turn left at the blinking caution light. Proceed for 2.5 miles, and turn left at the "River View Camp for Girls and Natures Classroom" sign. Take the road next to the sign, County Road 614, and proceed 1 mile until you arrive at Natures Classroom.
